By default, the GroundControl Locker app does not allow users to lock a checked out device from within the app itself. This is in order to prevent users that may accidentally tap the lock icon on the GroundControl Locker app, locking the devices.
Enable Manual Lock
The Manual Lock is configured via AppConfig within your MDM.
Instructions vary based on your MDM server.
1. Visit Apps & Books > Applications > Native > Purchased (assuming you are using our VPP app).
2. Select the app checkbox and click Assign.
3. Edit the device assignment
4. At the bottom of the assignment dialog, switch Send Application Configuration to Enabled.
5. Add a new key called “AllowManualLock” of type “Boolean” with Configuration Value “true”.
6. Save the change, click Save and Publish, then Publish.
